Val d'Isère is a ski resort located in the French Alps, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Val d'Isère is located in the Savoie department, near the Italian border. The resort is nestled in the Tarentaise valley, at an altitude between 1,850 and 2,800 meters.
